PK Development Group was founded in 2012 by Mario J. Procida and the late Thomas B. Keller, the company was an outgrowth of the collaboration of Brisa Builders Corp. and Procida Construction Corp.
Since the early 2000’s, the companies, together, worked on the construction of several affordable housing projects financed by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development .
Ericka Keller, second generation principal of Brisa Builders joined the organization in 2013 and most recently the organization was joined by third generation principal of Procida Construction Corp, Peter Procida. The company has a specialized focus on working with faith-based organizations for the development of affordable housing in New York City and across the nation.

Ericka Keller truly has a heart for community development and revitalization. Attending school on full academic scholarships and graduating Magna Cum Laude, Ericka earned her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, and Professional Certification degrees from New York University, Brooklyn College, and the College of St. Rose, respectively. Ericka commenced her career as a junior high school teacher and served 10 years as NYC Department of Education Principal before taking over the family business of construction and development in 2012.
Ericka built upon Brisa Builders Corp’s history as a HUD 202 General Contractor building senior housing for faith-based sponsors and in 2016 opened her own company Brisa Builders Development LLC, an organization focused on the development of affordable housing with faith-based organizations and church partners.
Since 2016, Brisa Builders Development LLC has completed or under construction over 1000 units of deeply affordable housing with more than 108,575 sq. ft. of commercial/retail and community facility spaces, many with faith-based partners. The company currently has over 1200 units in predevelopment located in NYC including awarded RFPs with New York City Housing Authority PACT program . Ericka has received several awards and citations during the course of both of her careers including, the 2009 Queens Rotary Club “Unsung Hero Award”, 2010 NYS Senate “Constituent of the Month Citation”, 2012 National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) “Woman of the Year Award” the 2015 Mayor Hall -Village of Hempstead “Woman of the Year Award” as well as recognitions from colleagues like New York State Association of Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) 2021 M/WBE of the Year and 2021 Crain’s Notable Business Woman Recognition. Ericka also provides an annual scholarship to young men from Brooklyn, pursuing college with an entrepreneurial spirit, in honor of her late father, Thomas B. Keller.
Mario Procida
CEO Procida Companies LLC
President and Chief Executive Officer of Procida Construction Corp, Founder and Manager of Procida Development Group LLC and several affiliates under the Procida Companies banner . Mario is responsible for crafting the vision for and overseeing the operations of his companies , utilizing unparalleled commitment and expert knowledge to deliver some of the best products in the industry . Starting in the 1980s Mario focused on the development of affordable housing projects in the company’s home borough of the Bronx , a serious need that had gone unmet for a long time. Building several thousand residential units , Procida Construction Corp became a major player in the rebuilding of the borough so much so that he received several awards for his work from industry advocates and leaders.
Beginning in the early 2000’s Mario went on to develop a number of affordable housing projects working with faith- based leaders and other community nonprofits to make a profound impact on the market, this work continued simultaneously to his work in the luxury residential market resulting in the On Prospect Park, a luxury condominium development designed by renowned Richard Meir, built on the parking lot of well-known synagogue in the downtown Brooklyn community . This transformative work has continued for the past 20 years.
Mario earned a Master of Architecture from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Lehigh University . While at both Lehigh and UCLA, Mario received several academic awards of distinction including the Spillman- Farmer Architectural Award . Mario is the former Trustee of the Greenwich Academy and Former Director of the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York .
